Lesson with Rachael

Today in the morning we had a lady name Rachael and she came from accountant and she came and talked about saving money and spending money,Before we started she wrote on the board that if we lend a Pencil,DVD,$5 or your phone but most people put there hands up for pencil.If we lend a pencil to a stranger we don't need it because we just meet them that day.After we talked about saving money and spending money we did a skit and four people had to go up to join and Baden,Keti,Voni and Alisi put there hands up,Once that was finish we did a sheet that we had fill in the blanks spot with the letters that were on the top.

Star Dome

Today was a really important day because the whole senior block was going on a trip to star dome to look at different parts of the world,before we went to star dome we had to go down to the hall but we could only allowed 6 bags to take on the trip because they don't know were to put them,before we went on the trip the teachers said we had dance fever before we go to the bus but the buses weren't even here.

There were 4 classes that had dance fever and the classes that were gong on the trip was room 7,8,9 and 10 but before the buses came we had to do dance fever for a hour because the buses weren'ta here yet.When we left Mrs Raj wanted us to do a pray before we leave to our trip.When the 2 buses came Mrs Raj saw room 10 sitting up nicely and we were the first to go on the bus,room 10 and 9 had one bus and room 7 and 8 had the other bus.

When we were going on the bus everyone was talking with their friend's and they were laughing and having a fun time with everyone,I,Alisi and Erina was singing the Niuean song for our dance so we know it off by heart and learning it so when it come's to that day we won't forget the words.On the way to star dome some of the year 5 students and year 6 students were being smart when we were behind them in the bus.

When we reached the star dome we had our morning tea with everyone,After we had our morning tea,Room 7 and 8 went inside the star dome with their teacher and parent helper's,while room 10 and 9 had there play outside while they were in the star dome.After we had our morning tea Mrs Raj let us go and play on the park were the wheel and field is,The boys let me and Alisi play bull rush when they said the last 3 people to go i just walked it a little bit until all of them came to me i ran it up and they tried to ankle tap me but they couldn't until Brandon ankle tapped me hard and then i fell to the ground on my knee's.

Technology

Today the year 7 and 8 went to technology,We go there ever Friday morning.In technology we have classes to go to and in my class we did sewing.First we have to draw the sewing machine and name all the parts when we draw she wants us to name all the parts and make sure that it is finish before we could do our bags.After a while Mrs Tuipolotu talked about our behavior and she said if we don't behavior next week we won't do any cooking for the last week of technology.

Technology

Today in technology we sewed our bags,next week we will finish it off before the big school holidays.In sewing we had to go in and out before we started we had to get a needle and freed and a scissors and a ruler.When we started our bags we had to go in and out of the bag.We first had to fold the bag inside out and start sewing,next week Mrs Tuipolotu so we can be finished.

Maths reflection

Today for maths we did triangles work that was on the site,for maths we did km and hours.Circles had to finish off the question,most of the circles group were stuck on the question so they asked for help from the teacher.In maths today we had to do a reflection about what we did in maths but we didn't get to finish off our maths work.

Kiwi Can

In kiwi can we talked about respect for ourselves,But some people were disrespecting others when they were talking.We played human knot and we had to try and get untangled,before we played the game we were put into 2 groups.After we played the human knot we just sat in a circle on the mat and talked about what we did.We got into our GKQ and the first four had to stand up.When we did our points,for our respect we got a 3 and it was the lowest score we ever got for respect.

Science Day

Today we went to Mrs Moopanar and Mrs Taylor's class,she  were in there waiting for us to come,In room 8 I learnt that you can make music with water. We had 5 cups full of water,We had to take a book and pencil with us to room 8. We had all had a group that we were suppose to route around the tables so we can see what happens with all the equipment.

In room 8,before we left we had a quiz before we went back to class to have our lunch.After lunch we had no science only with our class but we had to do our blog. Mrs Moopanar class was okay and we did learn something from it.

In Mrs Parker class we did light project but first we were suppose to be in our coloured house but everyone was just walking ever were and not stay with their group we had to work as a team but instead of working as a team it seem like they didn't care Mrs Parker kept telling us to be quiet.

Her science was better because we get to learn something and get to also participate in what we were talking about,Mrs Parker class was how does light create and what creates light.I had fun in their with everyone and also trying new things.

Technology

In the morning I get ready to go to technology at Tamaki College.When we get there we wait until our tech teacher comes when the bell rings,once the second bell rings we inside and put our bags down and go to our benches were we sit.

Before we start Mr Grundy gets 3 students to hand the papers out to the students that are waiting and the person who is giving the students work spreads them out on the bench.When we start to work there are 5 rules that we have to go against and if we don't follow the rules that Mr Grundy put up on the board.

Child Abused

When children are getting abused from their parents they try to hide their  bruises from their friends and teachers.As child abuse is it might leave briuses and scars on their bodies,while the child is getting abused by their parents.

Child abuse is not what the child would deserve from their parents.Physical abusement is when the child is getting abused by their mum and dad by getting punched,beaten,biting,kicking,shaking,burning or throwing the child to the wall.

S'' for surprise

The book me and fine read was S'' for surprise and it was all about a competition and who ever had the most stuff in a matchbox their family would win a tickets to the movie and ice cream to take with them.Josh and Tess would always listen to the radio station to see what is happen,that day on they had a matchbox and started to put the stuff in the matchbox that start with the letter "S".

Once Joshua and Tess heard the radio station about the competition that was going on so joshua said to tess get a matchbox and so on they started to think about all the letter words that start with "S"...they were think so hard that they were getting a headache of think he kept telling tess to think harder she said i'm think harder.The sun was going down and the sky was glowing with pink and orange.Long shadows fell it start to get dark then joshua said hurry up it is getting late.

In the morning mum took the matchbox to the competition and at nine thirty joshua anad tess was waiting for the results to come on then they opened Joshua and Tess matchbox then they heard a scream mum said what did you put in the matchbox...

My weekend

On Saturday I woke up and my aunty had just arrived.We heard her music because it was loud,My aunty asked me if I want to go with her , and i said 'YES please' I was so happy and I had a huge smile on my face because i was going to my aunty's house for the night plus my uncle was at my nana's house for the weekend.

Once we left my mum was in the front waiting for us to go.After living we played some music when we were driving,my aunty didn't know what to do because she was confused what to do.She was thinking about getting my uncle some lunch for him,but instead she dropped us off on the drive way and went to the shop to get him a drink and a chewing gum...

After that my aunty came back from the shop She then gave my uncle his chewing gum and drink once she got in the house after a while my nana and her partner just had finished picking my nana up from work because she always finished at three thirty pm.

Junior Warriors

On Wednesday there are 3 junior warriors that came to glenbrae school and they came to show us some skills but first Jerome said that  jazz and junior had one team each.There were 3 or 4 cards they said we had to do a warm up after doing a warm up,when we did our warm ups we stretch our mussels in our legs and then we also stretch our mussels in our arms.

After we did warm ups we played a game like baseball but it was different because we had to do a drop kick and the other team that is fielding have to pass the ball to each other ten times and the team that kicked the ball have to run around two yellow cones until the team that are fielding are finished passing the ball.

Once it was lunch time Jazz,Junior and Jerome said goodbye and see you next week Thursday they will come and show us more skills how to play rugby league.The year 6 and 7 were happy because there were 3 junior warriors.

Kiwi Can

Kiwi Can:

In Kiwi can room 10 we talked about reliability.When we were in kiwi can Mr Numia split us up into four groups because we were going to play a game called Big Bounce Handball.Then we were put into 2 big teams and we had to verse the other teams team 1 only won once team 2 won 2.

When we were playing big bounce handball.If we bounced the ball on there square we will be out,some of them cheat when we were playing they keep bouncing the ball low so we can be out some of them were talking back to the referee they weren’t being respectful.

After the first round we played over and over until bono came back to kiwi can.we played the last 2 rounds then we went back to room 11 and then we did our points,After that we had to line up outside out class.

MADD Diary

In the morning year 7 and 8 went down to the hall for MADD workshop.When we got into the hall we moved the tables and put out some chairs to sit on then we talked about the session we’ve been doing with Petia. Petia gave us a coloured key rings,Petia gave us 6 coloured cards.Red,Orange,Yellow,White,Blue and Green.

Once we had finished talking about what we’ve been doing in the 7 session. After that Petia asked for Fraser to stand in the middle then Fraser said it was his birthday,then we all started to sing happy birthday to Fraser. Once we were finished singing happy birthday to Fraser we got to say something to him.

Petia said thank you us and the teachers for having them with us.He draw iron man for our last picture before he goes.

MADD Dairy

MADD means Music,Art,Drama,Dynamic thats what we been learning  the past few weeks with Caroline and Petia,at MADD we been talking about a lot of stuff we been doing with them this term.Term 1 was awesome and cool because we been with Petia and Caroline.

Today I learnt from MADD we don’t give up and join others when they have to join when they are doing sports.Petia gave us 7 minutes to do something like drama,we were splitted into 4 groups which we had to actor.Then we had to actor it out,first it went fusi group they actor out like they were judges and fusi was a instrument player and it was a ukulele then it was Joseph,Ilalio,Lennyx,Brandon,Bono,Baden,Mangila, Voni and Timote they were playing a wrestling game but they didn't read the rules so they just keep playing and started arguing with each other.

Today was fun because we had to do drama and petia said act it out in front of  other peer,this term 1 was the best because I have fun with other peers and with Caroline and Petia.
