Maths

Today in maths we had to solve finding a set of fractions and adding fractions. These are some of the fractions we did and we did our six timetables.

L.I: Finding fractions of a set
3/4 of 18=13.5
1/2 of 24=12
4/7 of 28=16
3/6 of 36=18
5/6 of 54=45
3/8 of 32=12

L.I: Adding fraction
1/2+3/4=1 whole 1/4
3/4+3/4=1 whole 2/4
4/5+3/5=1 whole 2/5
2/7+3/7=5/7
4/10+2/5=8/10

This is what my maths group learnt today.

Science experiment

Today room 7 students are doing a Science experiment on a potato. We are going to see what will happen to the potato if it can grow in a box with a hole on top or not.

I think that the potato will not grow because it will need sun for it to grow. I also think that the potato might not have much air for it to grow and I will see if it will suffocate in the box.

A magical forest EDDEN

There once was this magical forest called Edden but no one ever knew about it because an old lady named Sarah kept it a secret for so long. She once told her grandchild Lucy when she was just a little girl.

After twenty years time Lucy went looking for the magical forest. She went from country to country, city to city, forest to forest and desert to desert but she still couldn't find it so she gave up.

Then she got a phone call by some random person. He said he was her brother she didn't want to believe him because she never grew up with a brother or a dad. She never met him in her life.

“Then he said that his name was Josh and that he lived with his dad”. She told him that she never knew that she had a dad and a brother. Then he said that he found the magical forest and that his dad gave him a map to go there before he died.

Ripper Rugby

Today room 7 students had ripper rugby in the morning. We talked about how we should time the ball when they pass it . we also talked about what we learnt last  Thursday, we played a relay game where we all have to be in 3 even lines so that there will be an even number of people. First Matt explained how we can play the game , We had to pass the ball to the player at the back before the defender could hit the ball out of our hands. Once we played that game he taught us how to do the cut where we just pass the ball if we want but only if we have no option.

Answer=5

In The Jungle

Once upon a time there was this little girl called Sabrina and she was lost in the jungle full of different living creatures like creepy crawly insects, rapid saber tooth animals and many more.

So I started wondering around the jungle looking for any village people or anybody living around this area. All I hear is insects churping, monkeys swinging from trees to tree and slithering snakes hissing as they are ready to attack any movements around. I was getting biten by mosquitoes. I thought to myself how long have I've been walking in the jungle, I was tired and thirsty but I wouldn't drink the water till I know it's safe.

My worse fear was dying alone in the jungle alone and nobody knows where to look for me. I never felt how much I missed my parents at that moment, then everything became real.

Finally I was not alone and all by myself, I thought to myself that it wasn't so bad being in the jungle but I realised that the jungle was really special to live in.
