Special Operations Executive (SOE)
This week weka group is reading a book called The White Mouse… Our book we are reading is about Special Operations Executive (SOE).
Nancy had parachuted out of a plane above the central France. She had quickly started to work with the Local Resistance. Nancy used secret codes and radios to communicate to arrange weapons, explosives to blow up trains and railways.
The special operations executive was a top secret organisation set up by the British. The (SOE) parachuted into countries such as France.
Thousand of German troops were hunting the resistance. All Nancy codes and radios were destroyed so she had a problem. She went to visit another village many kilometres away.
This part of the story was telling us that so many German troops were so desperate to find this lady, Also it was about what happened in world war ll.

Well done for blogging your summary of the story. Remember to start off by introducing the story - e.g. Nancy had moved to France to be with her husband and wanted to help out in the resistance against German troops in WW2.
