As summer is here

And the sun comes out

There's nothing to care about

Autumn is here

Leaves come falling

here and there

Hearing people calling

But when it’s winter

leaves turn into cold frosty snow

everyone should already know

Spring has come

the seasons aren’t yet done

flowers blooming here

MADD Dairy

MADD means Music,Art,Drama,Dynamic thats what we been learning  the past few weeks with Caroline and Petia,at MADD we been talking about a lot of stuff we been doing with them this term.Term 1 was awesome and cool because we been with Petia and Caroline.

Today I learnt from MADD we don’t give up and join others when they have to join when they are doing sports.Petia gave us 7 minutes to do something like drama,we were splitted into 4 groups which we had to actor.Then we had to actor it out,first it went fusi group they actor out like they were judges and fusi was a instrument player and it was a ukulele then it was Joseph,Ilalio,Lennyx,Brandon,Bono,Baden,Mangila, Voni and Timote they were playing a wrestling game but they didn't read the rules so they just keep playing and started arguing with each other.

Today was fun because we had to do drama and petia said act it out in front of  other peer,this term 1 was the best because I have fun with other peers and with Caroline and Petia.

James is making pineapple pies. He needs 2/3 of a pineapple to make one pie.How many pineapple pies can he make with 12 pineapples?

There are 12 pineapples and they are splited into 2/3.How many pineapples did James make?12+6=18 that's your answer.

Explanation writing about Sharks

Sharks becoming extinct

There once were many sharks in the world. Today, there are not many left. The question is WHY?

The Chinese and the Japanese are running shark finning ships. This is very bad because they kill the sharks in big nets, cut the fins off and then throw the rest of the shark in the rubbish.

Many sharks are being killed each month. If this continues to happen then the sharks will become extinct like the dinosaurs.

We should stop and think about the animals which help sea like sharks. The Japanese and Chinese also need to be punished for what they do to this special sea creature.

Reading activity for this week

This week I read Just to be safe by John Lockyer. It is a fiction story. 

Our WALT was to question the author's purpose for writing the story. 

The author wrote the story so children can be safe when they go on a trip. In the story grandma is the person who keeps the children safe. She asked Kate not to go on the flying fox because it was too fast. Grandma told Kate that she was too young for the flying fox because you have to be 10 years old to go on the flying fox.
